As always, it was wonderful to gather on Saturday, April 18 at our annual Women's Brunch, inaugurally named in honor of Helene Mattera! The day was filled with connection, community, and that unmistakable Rising Sun spirit. Special thank you to Juki Kim (CRS ‘91) for hosting us at her venue, Littlefield, in Brooklyn once again this year.
We were grateful to have Bria Barnes-Coleman lead an inspiring workshop, Connection That Catalyzes: Women, Leadership, and the Power of Community. It was especially meaningful to see our mission come to life through real-world examples, and to hear it connected to the strong women who have shaped her journey and impacted so many others.
Events like the Women’s Brunch keep our community connected, even as summers come and go. Thank you to everyone who joined us this year!
