Request for Proposal (RFP)
LAJF is seeking proposals from qualified independent certified public accounting firms (the Firm) to perform an annual audit of LAJF and Camp Rising Sun financial statements for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, with the option to renew for two additional one‑year terms (2027 and 2028). The audit must be performed in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and AICPA auditing standards, producing audited financial statements and related reports suitable for public distribution and IRS Form 990 preparation.

Timeline:
RFP issued:  April 15, 2026
Deadline for questions:  May 15, 2026
Proposal due:  May 29, 2026 (5:00 PM EDT)
Notification of award:  June 15, 2026
Interim fieldwork: October-December 2026 (dates to be coordinated)
Final delivery of audited financials statements, Form 990 and management letter by January 15, 2027
