We have an incredible team of summer staff who build the foundation for the life-changing experiences our campers have each year! For two weeks before the season starts, the team goes through a Staff Training that deepens their understanding of Camp and lays the groundwork for the weeks to come. Joseph Riddle ('87, '88, '95, '97) met up with campmate Larry Norden ('87) on November 9. They discussed Larry's work at the Brennan Center for Justice, and how the mission of Rising Sun is critical in this political climate.
The world is becoming more and more divided. In these difficult times, we need Camp Rising Sun more than ever, as a space to bring diverse individuals together and give campers a hands-on experience in navigating dialogue among people who share differing ideas and perspectives so that they are better prepared to lead our world forward.
