Thank you to everyone who joined our Pride event on Saturday, June 13! It was a celebration of community, connection, and belonging.
Thanks to the generosity and presence of our community, the event — including the raffles — raised over $3,200! Beyond the numbers, what moved us most was seeing alumni across many decades, friends, board members, families, LGBTQIA+ community members, and allies come together in a space that was welcoming, joyful, and affirming.
A special thank you to LAJF LGBTQIA+ Affinity Group leaders Jackson (CRS '18-'19, '23-'25), Manny (CRS '02-'03, '10), and Steven (CRS '01-'02) for their leadership and vision, and to Bradley Cohen (CRS '75-'76, '82), a.k.a Wanda DeGalaxy, for bringing such incredible energy, humor, and heart to the day.
Shout out to Cork Wine Bar for the amazing space and generously donated wine. Please go visit them this summer! And thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, organized, photographed, set up, cleaned up, and contributed in ways both large and small.
