Thank you for thinking of Camp Rising Sun! Considering the virtual shift in social gatherings this year, we would like to continue to advance our online presence. Facebook fundraising campaigns are engaging and interactive ways for you to further show your support for CRS. Below are campaign suggestions and instructions on how you can build your own fundraiser for any upcoming occasion. Giving Tuesday Now
2020 #GivingTuesdayNow will be held on May 5. This global generosity movement is a day of unity, as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. You now have an early opportunity to support the causes you love, like Us!
90th Anniversary Campaign
We are so incredibly thankful to our community for their extensive support over the last 90 years. LAJF and Camp Rising Sun would not have made it this far without supporters like you! We will be commemorating this milestone throughout the year with special announcements, events and more. We hope you join in on the celebration! One of the ways to celebrate this milestone is by setting up your own 90th Anniversary Facebook Fundraising campaign!
Window Replacement Campaigns
At the beginning of our fiscal year, The Louis August Jonas Foundation instituted the Windows Renovation Capital Campaign. Our initial efforts were able to replace the windows in our gym and start in the dining hall.
Although the current widespread situation has caused us to shift the Camp Rising Sun experience to virtual programming, we would like to continue to sustain a beautiful and safe camp ground upon the return of our original program.

Birthday Campaigns
We are so grateful for all of the engaged alums who have celebrated their birthday with us. A fun way to celebrate your birthday and maintain social-distancing is by setting up a Birthday Fundraiser. By doing this, you help spread the word about Camp Rising Sun and what our organization means to you. When you set a fundraising goal you provide your community with the opportunity to celebrate you by giving back to a cause that’s important to you.

Campaign Logistics:
Make sure your name appears as the fundraiser organizer and Camp Rising Sun is the organization you are fundraising for.
Set a fundraising goal that will inspire your friends and family to help support Camp and reach your goal.
You can pick a deadline date for your fundraiser and announce it with milestones along the way to build momentum. Example “3 days left!”

“Tell Your Story” - this is an opportunity to share the what Camp Rising Sun means to you and why your friends and family should support. A general automated message will appear for your use, you may customize this or use our general birthday message:
