AnnMarie Lee Walton (CRS ’92-’94,’99) is an award-winning nurse for her commitment to leadership and advocacy. After being a camper for 3 seasons, she went back to Camp as a counselor and continued her commitment to CRS through her service on the Program, Scholarship, and Health and Safety Committees. She also served on the Board of Directors and the Committee on Governance. AnnMarie was recently featured on the website of the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, for her nursing work.

The Clinton Facility Assessment is available in draft form. “CRS’s infrastructure and buildings and grounds provide a viable base to which improvements can be made. Although improvements will be a significant expense, with careful budgeting and planning in the next five years, CRS can be restored, revitalized, and prepared to expand and flourish for many more years to come.”

The Dutch alumni gathered during the National Day of Community Service, called NL Doet, which can be translated to ‘the Netherlands Acts’. The idea behind this day is to come together as alumni and to apply what they learned at Camp Rising Sun to their own country. Read about thier service day here.
