Members of the Board of Directors are responsible for the governance of LAJF. The Board sets the policies and overall priorities of the LAJF management, monitors its performance, and provides financial oversight. Many are alumni of Camp Rising Sun.

LAJF encourages Camp Rising Sun alumni to join a committee that matches their skills and interests. If you are interested in joining a committee, contact Judy Fox, Executive Director.
Committee on Advancement
Oversees communications, development, fundraising, public relations, alumni affairs, and related matters.
ARISE Committee
Reviews ARISE grants for CRS alumni participating in service-oriented, humanitarian projects.
Audit Committee
Assists the Board of Directors in fulfilling its oversight responsibility with respect to audit policies and system of internal controls of the Foundation.
Building and Grounds Committee
Oversees the maintenance of camp properties and structures and makes recommendations for capital improvements and for the acquisition of new properties or structures.
Finance and Investment Committee
Monitors and provides oversight of the LAJF's finances and investments, refines and gives preliminary approval to the annual budget and provides oversight of insurance issues.
GEJ Scholarship Committee
Manages the GEJ College Scholarship Program for CRS alumni.
Health and Safety Committee
Advises on health and safety at the Camps.

Committee on Directors
Nominates and cultivates prospective directors, prepares orientation materials, prepares general information about the work and structure of the Foundation and the relationship of the Board and the MAC.
Program Committee
Oversees all the programs of the Foundation, including evaluation of outcomes.
Selection Policy Committee
Supervises the annual selection of campers and sets goals and policies for camper composition and qualifications, both nationally and internationally.
Strategic Planning Committee
Works with other committees to set goals and develops a 3 - 5 year plan in its first year, then implements plan and monitors progress.
