James Dyer '54 recognized for volunteer work with Community Service Society's 'RSVP' program
James "Jim" Dyer '54 of Washington Heights in New York City has been recognized for his volunteer work with Community Service Society's Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). The Program places hundreds of retired workers with agencies and organizations across New York City, over 500 agencies in all. Jim's role is to vet the volunteers and help match their skills and talents with the needs of city organizations.
Jim has volunteer his time and talents for two years now and says of his work, "I find it very satisfying because of the interesting people you meet who find themselves doing interesting things after we talk."
